Kitsilano Community Centre Spring Lesson Registration

Lesson registration for Adults’ and Childrens’ Tennis Programs is now open at the Kitsilano Community Centre.
The Kits CC page will give you a direct short-cut to the tennis lessons you are looking for in the brochure.
The PDF is available (search for tennis) link is http://www.kitscc.com/files/u2/kits-spring-summer2012.pdf and you may register on line, by telephone or in person. Adults’ and Childrens’ classes are now two months in length to give you more bang of the ball for the bucks you spend.

Spring Lessons

Spring is slowly but with the certainty of a good forehand returning all attempts at winter’s serve.
Outdoor Lessons at False Creek and Kitsilano Community Centres begin in April. Tennis lesson registration for both centres is now available online

You may also register in person or by telephone.
Indoor privates and group lessons at the River Club are also available for 2.5-3.0 Novice Plus to Advanced 4.5 players.

New Years Tennis Lessons January/February Indoors

All lessons are 6 sessions of 2 hours each totaling 12 hours cost is $252.00 including HST

Schedule and Levels offered:

Novice Plus 2.05-3.0

Wednesdays 9-11pm,
January 11 to February 16

Lower Intermediate 3.0-3.5

Fridays 8-10pm,
January 13 to February 7
and Sundays 8-10pm,
January 15 to February 19

Intermediate 3.5-4.0

Tuesdays 9-11pm,
January 10 to February 14
and
Thursdays 9-11pm,
January 12 to February 16
and
Sundays 4-6pm,
January 15 to February 19

Advanced 4.0-4.5

Sundays 6-8pm,
January 15 to February 19.

Coach directed Singles and doubles competitive play at the 3.5-4.0 will be scheduled based on demand.

Indoor Lessons in October November and December

The rains are coming-some days they are already here! Time to go inside for lessons and play. The fall lessons are offered at the River Club, all lessons are organized through Gord. Car pooling is encouraged.
Lesson Schedule as follows:

Tuesdays 9-11pm Intermediate: 6 lessons in each session: Cost 225.00 plus HST: Session 1 October 4 to November 8 and Session 2 November 15-December 20

Thursdays 9-11pm Lower Intermediate: 6 lessons in each session: Cost 225.00 plus HST:
Session 1 October 6 to November 10 and Session 2 November 17-December 22

Fridays 8-10pm Lower Intermediate: 6 lessons in each session: Cost 225.00 plus HST: Session 1 October 7 to November 11 and Session 2 November 18 to December 23

Sundays 4-6 pm Intermediate: 5 lessons in each session: Cost is $187.50 plus HST: Session 1 October 16 to November 13 and Session 2 November 20-December 18

Sundays 6-8 pm Advanced: 5 lessons in each session: Cost is $187.50 plus HST:
Session 1 October 16 to November 13 and Session 2 November 20-December 18

Sundays 8-10 pm Intermediate: 5 lessons in each session: Cost is $187.50 plus HST:

Very Happy to announce that for May and June there are a limited number of spaces available for indoor lessons with Gord.

Days and levels below, all times are 7:00-9:00pm and 9:00 to 11:00pm, privates are available on 48 hour notice.

Tuesdays: Advanced 4.0+

Thursdays: Novice Plus 7-9 and 9-11pm

Fridays: Lower Intermediate 7-9 and 9-11pm

Sundays: Intermediate 7-9 and 9-11pm

September Outdoor Lessons

Lesson registration is now open for outdoor programs at Kits and False Creek Community Centres.

False Creek has added Novice, Novice Plus and Lower Intermediate the registration is now available online or through the Community Centre at 604-257-8195. Kitsilano Community Centre has classes starting next Wednesday for Novice, Novice Plus, Lower Intermediate and Intermediate. Kits classes all take place at Kits Beach Courts. Registration online or at 604-257-6976.

Do not miss the last chance to get into the great outdoor for more good hits before the rains of fall arrive!

Adult Tennis Lesson Lessons Update

August looks like summer will finally arrive and there is still time to get out and experience the fun of our tennis lessons. There is room available in the Beginner and Novice Classes at Douglas Park, Killarney and Kitsilano where classes are held at Kits Beach. Call any of the the community centres to register. Just follow the “Tennis Info for your Community Centre Location ” link on the web site front page to get contact information.

August 2-5 Kids Day Camps

Great news! There is still room for 4 kids ages 6-8 in the Tennis Day Camp August 2-5. The camp runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the False Creek Community Centre on Granville Island. All the other Tennis Day camps we have are full with long wait lists so if you are looking for a great week of tennis, water park, and other sports to keep the kids happy, Granville Island is where to send them.
