Adult Tennis Program Schedule 2019

Adult Tennis Programs:

Please do not register for any program above the Beginner Level without being able to do the skills. Coaches have an obligation to insure all players are in classes appropriate to their skill level. If needed players will be placed in a program best suited to their skills.

Beginner/Novice:

Available at All Community Centres
Beginner to Novice Plus
1.0-2.5 Min 6 Max 12
10 hours in length; 5 Classes 2 Hours Long.

Get Fit . Learn New Skills. Have Fun. Make New Friends. Our 10 hour course is designed to show you and develop all the fundamentals of the game. Weekly themes cover techniques and tactics whilst developing your match skills with a great bunch of people. Our Goal is for the Beginner and Novice Coaching courses to give you the basic skills that will allow you to get out and chase the little yellow ball for the rest of your life.


Novice Plus:

Available at All Community Centres
Novice Plus 2.5 Min 6 Max 12
10 hours in length; 5 Classes 2 Hours Long.


Lower Intermediate:

Available at All Community Centres
Lower Intermediate 2.5-3.5 Min 6 Max 12
10 hours in length; 5 Classes 2 Hours Long.


Intermediate:

Available at Douglas Park, False Creek and Dunbar Community Centre and Private Groups
Intermediate 2.5-3.5 Min 6 Max 12
10 hours in length; 5 Classes 2 Hours Long.

Keep Fit . Learn New Skills and add Evil to your Game, Have Fun. Make New Friends, Vanquish court enemies. This 10 hour course is designed to help you improve skills you already have and add spin, speed and evil to your techniques and tactical planning. Coaches will assess skills and organize the class into appropriate groups. Our goal is to get you ready for the Summer tournaments from Stanley Park to playing the local court champ.
